Park történelem / historyThe Sándor Sík Scout Park near Fillmore, New York was purchased in the fall of 1963 by the Hungarian Scout Association in Exile’s leaders, Mr. Gábor Bodnár, Rev. István Gerencsér, Rev. Lajos Kővári, and Dr. György Némethy. The park was named after Sándor Sík, a priest, scout leader, highschool teacher, and poet (he wrote the words to the scout hymn) in Hungary, who had passed away, just a couple of months before the land for the park was purchased. The park was officially opened and dedicated in May of 1964 and will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014!Kattints a cíkkekre letölteni és kinyomtatni.Click on the pages to download and print.
